One clinic assumed its provider was supplying a healthcare-grade disinfectant. The contract didn't specify it. When a safety inspection flagged the discrepancy, the facility — not the vendor — absorbed the costs of retraining staff, retreating surfaces, and meeting the corrective action requirements.
The contract didn't spell it out. That was the problem.
