Spending more time in the garden this season? 🌱

Gardening is a great way to stay active, but frequent kneeling, squatting, and bending can put extra stress on your knees. Over time, that can lead to stiffness, soreness, or lingering pain.

A few simple adjustments can make a big difference. Using proper body mechanics, taking breaks, and improving strength and mobility can help protect your knees while you enjoy the work you love.

If knee pain is holding you back, physical therapy can help you move more comfortably and get back to your routine with confidence. Book your visit today: https://bit.ly/4njQuFq

After a long winter indoors, many people are excited to get back to walking, running, biking, and outdoor activities. But returning to exercise too quickly can sometimes lead to soreness or injury.

The best way to restart your routine is to ease back in. Give your body time to rebuild strength and mobility, start with shorter or lighter activity, and gradually increase your intensity as you feel stronger.

Listening to your body and taking the time to warm up can help you stay active and avoid setbacks this spring.

If aches or pains start to slow you down, physical therapy can help you return to activity safely and confidently so you can keep doing the activities you enjoy.

We had the opportunity to host a shoulder course at our O’Fallon clinic, led by David Bright, PT of Excel Rehab and Sports and Scott Miller, PT of Armor Physical Therapy.

Together, they challenged conventional thinking on shoulder evaluation and treatment, pushing the conversation beyond a rotator cuff–focused approach and into more complete clinical reasoning.

Thank you to David, Scott, and everyone who joined us for a great day of learning and collaboration!

Your doctor can refer you to physical therapy, but where you go is your choice.

Most people don’t realize this. Your insurance typically covers any in-network provider, not just the clinic listed on your referral. And where you choose to go matters. The right clinic is convenient, experienced with your condition, and treats you like a whole person. That is the kind of care you are more likely to stick with, and consistency is what leads to real results.

You have options, don’t be afraid to explore them.

Ice or heat? Using the right one can make a big difference in your recovery.

Ice helps reduce swelling and pain after a new injury or flare-up. Heat is better for muscle tightness and stiffness, helping improve flexibility and movement.

Not sure what your body needs? Physical therapy can help guide you.
