Dysport vs. Botox — What’s the Difference? Let’s Break It Down 💉

Thinking about smoothing those lines but unsure which neurotoxin is right for you? Here’s a simple comparison:

✨ Dysport
• Often kicks in a little faster for many patients (about 2–3 days)
• Spreads a bit more — great for larger areas like the forehead
• Can give a softer, blended look across bigger muscle groups

✨ Botox
• The classic neurotoxin everyone knows
• More localized spread — great for very precise areas
• Results typically start showing around 5-7 days

✨ Let’s talk dosing
This is where people get confused — units are not the same.

• Dysport usually requires more units to achieve the same effect
• Typical conversion is about 3 units of Dysport ≈ 1 unit of Botox
• So if someone gets 20 units of Botox in an area, it may be about 60 units of Dysport for the same result

More units doesn’t mean stronger — it’s just measured differently.
