🛍️ We've had the great good fortune of accepting donations of needed materials for our participants in recent weeks! These women from the Medicaid division of Iredell County Government Department of Social Services dropped by recently with a generous array of items – kitchen supplies, snacks, throws, cleaning supplies, pet supplies, and much more! 📦

We're so grateful to have these added resources to help our clients and families, and we're incredibly appreciative of the help from our local community! 💖

📍 If you'd consider helping as well, please drop by with donations Monday through Friday at 502 Brevard Street in Statesville or call 704-873-0720 to arrange a visit.

Since Tuesday, November 11, is Veterans Day, we've opted to cancel the upcoming session of our caregivers support group. 🪖🗽

Don't worry, though: We'll be back to our regular schedule in December, so make plans to join us at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, December 9. We'll be sharing great practical information for caregivers and have an open conversation about challenges and satisfactions in the work we do! 🫶

🎶 We were excited to have a special Halloween group from Fourth Creek Musik join us at the day center today! The Kindermusik group features children and moms making music together and embraces our participants as well. 🎹

💞 It's such a joy for our folks to have the youngsters onsite and to interact with them as they play and enjoy music. Fourth Creek Musik joins us regularly, and we're grateful to Miss Gina, the owner, for thinking of us and to Kelley Brooke Photography for capturing the sweet moments! 📸

🎟 On Tuesday, we held our second annual cooler raffle at Red Buffalo Brewing Co. to raise funds for participant activities, programs, and resources! We had a great time meeting the fantastic people who purchased tickets for a chance at the grand prize, and there was lots of visible community support for IADS. 💙

🍾 At the end of the evening, William Boggs won our wine basket giveaway, and Ray Englebert was the last man standing when the wheel of donors was spun for the final time. Congratulations to both of them, and thanks to everyone who believes in the good work we do for families and participants in Iredell County! We appreciate your ongoing support! 🎉
