I hinted that someone big was coming....
I was hired by Valley Community Services Board to be the Program Manager for the upcoming Crisis and Recovery Center.
This will be a giant, 25,000 square foot facility (Imagine Martin's Grocery Store), complete with an Assessment Center/ Behavioral Health ER, Med Services, 16 23-hr Chair Unit, and a 16-bed Crisis Stabilization and Detox Center. The Center will also be equipped with the Marcus Alert System, Co-Response Unit, a Mobile Crisis Unit, Community Stabilization services, and Crisis/ Emergency Services.
I will be traveling around to local providers to provide informative sessions about what this center is envisioned to be, opening dates, opening process, how your clients can access it, etc.
