🚨 New CSEMS Protocol Course Modules Available 🚨
New education modules have been added covering:
• Acetaminophen (Tylenol®)
• Anxiety Protocol
• Cardiac Algorithms Update
• Ceftriaxone (Rocephin®)
• Hydroxocobalamin (Cyanide Kit)
• Hypertension in Pregnancy (Update)
• Post-Fire Exposure Decontamination
⏱ Providers are encouraged to complete these modules within 2 weeks.
📅 Protocol changes go live January 1, 2026.
Modules are not currently in Google Classroom and can be accessed via email links and interim guides. More details are available on our website, https://csems.org/news.html.

🚨 Become an EMT — Training Starts January 2026 🚨

Rockbridge County Fire-Rescue is offering an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course from January 7 – April 18, 2026.

📍 Location: RCFR Admin Office, Buena Vista, VA
🕓 Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 6–10 PM; occasional Saturdays, 8 AM–5 PM
💵 Cost: $500 (includes textbook) — tuition waiver available for interested participants

Open to anyone 16 or older. This hybrid course includes in-person skills sessions and a final skills test on April 18, 2026.
