The embodiment of living requires us to live a life with purpose. In order to live this way we have to peel away how we are shaped based off our environment, religious dogma passed to us through generations, societal norms, trauma, and many other factors that shape who we are and how we live. When we can liberate ourselves from things, experiences, and expectations that do not respect who we truly are we can then begin to build ourselves up in honor of who we really are. We than can begin to live a life that matters. Now here is the disclaimer….Doing this is not an easy task and it does take work and it requires to live each day with intention. This requires a lot of reflection, forgiveness, empathy, love, and compassion. Not only towards others but to ourselves. Love is at the center of this transformation. Through my education and experiences I started this transformation and I wanted to share some of the great things I learned that helped and are helping me ongoing. I also wanted to continue this journey to be the best ME, as well as being filled up with true happiness each and every day. Learning that happiness is not something that is meant to be temporary or determined based on what’s going on in life but is meant to be deeply rooted within self. Some of the core principals of the word happiness is pleasure, joy, exhilaration, bliss, delight, enjoyment, satisfaction, bliss, ecstasy, contentment, satisfaction. Yes that sounds great!! And there are so many books, magazines, stores, material items, and money that all claim the key to happiness and people are constantly searching for something outside of themselves to make them feel happy. But is it true happiness when something or someone can take our happiness away? What I learned is that what we believe or think about a situation, experience, or of anything that happens to us dictates how we feel. So perspective has a lot to do with happiness and learning how to shift away from negative thoughts/patterns and move to replacing them with more positive thoughts and creating a new way of living. So if this sound like something that you or someone you know might be interested in feel free to comment, like, and share my page. Even if you’re only looking for positive messages or inspiration that is a start. If there is something that you need help with that is specific feel free to message me or post and I try and reply. Thank you for visiting my page and I hope that we can all learn to live a life that matters. I do want to tell you this journey is harder for those who suffer with more deeper trauma, addiction, disabilities, mental health issues, or physical or chronic pain. But this is why I’m here because this is what we are trying to cure here. There are ridiculous amounts of dollars spent trying to tell us what will make us happy, well if you haven’t noticed we are all different and what makes us happy is our process. So let’s get started!
