I’ve gotta clear something up …I recently saw an article that a local cardiologist claimed that “if you eat protein and don’t use it, it turns into fat”
That’s 🐎 💩
🚨 That’s not how the body works.
Protein is used to build and repair tissue, support hormones, enzymes, and immune function. It doesn’t magically convert to fat unless you’re in a massive calorie surplus …and even then, carbs and fats are far more likely to be stored first.
Protein is not just “gym food.” It’s muscle insurance, metabolism support, blood sugar control, and the difference between getting lean… or just getting smaller and softer, sorry kids 🤘
So no, eating chicken didn’t make you gain body fat. ✌️
Under-fueling, under-lifting, and under-recovering did. 😬
Eat your protein. Lift your weights. Stop fearing food.💪
