Some clients meet for a single session to answer questions and to develop an exercise program (or to ensure that their existing program is balanced). Others prefer to work with a trainer for several months for the purpose of motivation, variety, exercise design, or to work toward a specific goal. And still others work with a trainer indefinitely for motivation, accountability, variety, or to ensure consistent progress.

The โ€œYouth Bikeโ€ allows local kids to ride and participate in this event completely FREE.

Many of these students donโ€™t have access to fitness opportunities like this.

Iโ€™ve gotta clear something up โ€ฆI recently saw an article that a local cardiologist claimed that โ€œif you eat protein and donโ€™t use it, it turns into fatโ€

Thatโ€™s ๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿ’ฉ

๐Ÿšจ Thatโ€™s not how the body works.
Protein is used to build and repair tissue, support hormones, enzymes, and immune function. It doesnโ€™t magically convert to fat unless youโ€™re in a massive calorie surplus โ€ฆand even then, carbs and fats are far more likely to be stored first.

Protein is not just โ€œgym food.โ€ Itโ€™s muscle insurance, metabolism support, blood sugar control, and the difference between getting leanโ€ฆ or just getting smaller and softer, sorry kids ๐Ÿค˜

So no, eating chicken didnโ€™t make you gain body fat. โœŒ๏ธ

Under-fueling, under-lifting, and under-recovering did. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Eat your protein. Lift your weights. Stop fearing food.๐Ÿ’ช
