As a lifelong lacrosse athlete himself, he understands the importance of staying active and works closely with each patient to create personalized, non-surgical treatment plans whenever possible.

Meet Eleni Russow, PT, DPT — Clinic Director for our Physical Therapy Team and a dedicated therapist serving patients in our Sterling and South Riding clinics. Eleni is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.

Q: Where did you get your degree?
A: I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from James Madison University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: Spending time with family is my favorite — my siblings are some of my best friends! I also enjoy hiking and camping in warmer months and skiing out West during the winter.

Q: What is your favorite hobby?
A: Cooking and baking (and of course, taste testing!). I love trying new recipes and putting my own twist on them.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a physical therapist?
A: Building relationships with my patients and being part of their recovery journey. Watching them reach their goals and return to the activities they love is incredibly rewarding.
