We’re starting 2026 off right! 🎉

If you're anything like us, you're passionate about collecting cool instruments to use during sessions. That might also mean you've got a few that don't seem to be a hit with the kids.

That’s okay! What’s a better way to clear up space than to give these instruments a new home

Bonus: families can use these during virtual sessions too!

What instruments will you be letting go this year? Comment below! ⬇️

Music Brings So Much to the Holidays!❄️👐

👐Connection
Music connects us to each other through shared memories, caroling, and listening together.

🎄Tradition
Many holiday songs have historical roots that connect us to traditions and themes celebrated by past generations.

🧸Nostalgia
Music is the only way we can truly go back in time! Songs can trigger positive memories of past celebrations with family, friends, and communities.

❄️Reflection
Seasonal songs describing winter and the holidays can involve all of our five senses during the season, anchoring us to the present moment and encouraging mindfulness.

We will be closed December 24-28 to celebrate the season. Happy holidays! 🌲❄️

Fall Singable Books! 🧡🍂

🍂We're Going on a Leaf Hunt - Written by Steve Metzger | Illustrated by Miki Sakamoto

This is a fall take on the classic “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”. This book is great for early language development and imitating sounds. It can also be used as a blueprint for a leaf hunt activity! Find a large space and let kids decide some obstacles to represent the ones in the song. Walk through the course and practice gross motor skills and balance.

🦉It’s Fall! - Written & Illustrated by Renée Kurilla

This poetry-style writing is perfect to sing and describes the exciting changes of fall!

🍁I’m a Leaf - Written by Gina Ferragame | Illustrated by Anna Swietlik-Horodecka

An inspiring story about a leaf’s journey of embracing adventure and change! Gina has the song on her youtube Music with Gina Show.

🍄One Leaf, Two Leaves, Count with Me! - Written by John J. Micklos (Jr.) | Illustrated by Clive McFarland

This book is great to practice counting and learn about the change of seasons. wrote a melody for this book and it’s on their instagram!

👖There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves - Written by Lucille Colandro | Illustrated by Jared Lee

Our therapists use this book in sessions a lot during the fall! They hang printed pictures of the objects in the book around the room and have clients walk to the object as they’re called!

Music has a unique way of reconnecting us with our true selves and reminding us of our strength. For this month's , we're quoting Keala Settle's song "This Is Me." This powerful anthem is a celebration of self-love, courage, and the beauty of being unapologetically yourself.
