✨ Meet Jenn — our amazing Radiology Technician and one of the heartbeat heroes of our clinic! Not only is she an expert in all things radiology, but she also assists Dr. Dugat in surgery and somehow keeps everything running smoothly.

Her caring nature shows in everything she does — whether she’s comforting a patient, lending a hand to a coworker, or making sure no one goes hungry. (She even started our famous Thursday “Dip Day,” debuting a new dip each week! 🥣💛)

Jenn’s basically the mom of the clinic, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her! 💕

🌟 Meet Carey!
Co-owner, eye specialist, and multi-tasking superstar 👀. Keeps the business running and still finds time to nurse patients!

One of our five Registered Veterinary Technicians, Carey is also our co-owner. While Dr. Dugat is busy in surgery, Carey keeps the business running smoothly.

Every now and then, she gets to come to the back and work as a nurse—a role that’s still her true passion. And because eyes are her specialty, whenever a patient has an eye condition, Carey is right there to assist!

Carey wears many hats, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

Anesthesia guru with 20+ years of experience 🩺. Calm under pressure and also a skilled massage therapist—humans included!

One of our five Registered Veterinary Technicians, Delicia is our most knowledgeable anesthesia technician. With over 20 years of experience as an RVT—most of it focused on anesthesia—she brings unmatched skill and a calming presence to even the craziest days.

When she’s not at VSCS, Delicia runs her own massage business, providing the same level of care and expertise to humans in need!

Delicia is a critical part of our team, and we don’t know what we’d do without her!

When she’s not in critical care mode, Jolene keeps her teammates laughing—she is the comic relief we all need!

Jolene is an essential part of our team, and we are so lucky to have her!

Surgery pro, bandage artist, dachshund cuddler, and Dutch Bros fan ☕. We couldn’t do surgery without her!

One of our five Registered Veterinary Technicians, Geena is our go-to girl for all things surgery. She knows every instrument and serves as Dr. Dugat’s right-hand woman in the OR.

When she isn’t assisting in surgery, Geena is creating adorable bandages for our patients, cuddling them until they’re spoiled rotten (especially dachshunds!), or making a quick Dutch Bros run to refuel with coffee.

Geena is an essential part of our team, and we couldn’t do it without her!

Job description:

Registered Veterinary Technician / Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Veterinary Specialty Center of Stillwater, LLC

Veterinary Specialty Center of Stillwater, LLC is a state-of-the-art veterinary surgical referral center dedicated to providing advanced surgical care for dogs and cats. We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant with strong technical abilities and an advanced knowledge base. Compassion for both patients and clients is essential.

Schedule:
Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Tuesday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications & Technical Requirements (including but not limited to):

Registered Veterinary Technician OR experienced Veterinary Assistant
Ability to properly restrain canine and feline patients
Proficient in:
Peripheral IV catheter placement
Central line, arterial, and urinary catheter placement
Venipuncture
Advanced nursing care of pre- and post-operative in-house patients, including critical care
Experience with electronic medical records
Anesthesia induction and monitoring
Surgical assisting, including scrubbing in and supporting the surgeon
Running laboratory diagnostics
Obtaining diagnostic imaging (radiographs and CT)
Performing daily cleaning duties to maintain hospital standards
Personal Skills & Expectations:

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
High commitment to providing an exceptional client experience
Excellent communication skills
Professional, well-spoken, approachable, and optimistic attitude
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
Compensation:

$21 – $33 per hour, based on experience
