ISO THE UN-SELLABLE!!!

We are a non-profit organization in Stillwater, Minnesota that provides equine assisted therapy to veterans and at-risk youth. We are in search of horses that need retirement, a step-down job, or a safe spot to land. Program is run by USDF Bronze medalist and USHJA certified instructor with over 30 years professional experience. Horses are well cared for with fully heated facility and 24 hour staff. Horses should be somewhat well mannered, no extreme/dangerous behavioral issues. Some maintenance is ok, rehabs are welcome. Donations of horses and/or equipment is tax deductible. The horses do obstacle type work on the ground such as navigating poles, pedestals, etc so they cant be crippled, have neurological deficits or be totally unsound at walk trot or canter. Some of our veterans choose to move on to riding skills at some point after they graduate from the horsemanship classes so we would prefer horses that can do very basic level ridden work for beginner level adults. We recently lost one of our elderly miniature horses so we are also casually looking for a very friendly and safe mini for our most timid participants.
