🧪 How X-Ray Remediation Fits Into the Cannabis Compliance Process
Every cannabis batch must pass strict microbial testing before it can enter the regulated market. Even well-grown flower can occasionally fail testing due to naturally occurring microbes like yeast or mold.
When that happens, remediation becomes the pathway that allows material to be safely returned to the supply chain.
Here’s how the process works:
1️⃣ Laboratory Testing
A batch is submitted for compliance testing and may fail due to microbial levels exceeding regulatory limits.
2️⃣ Remediation Treatment
The material is sent to Grow Remedy, where it is treated using the Rad Source RS-420 XL. This advanced system uses precision x-ray photonic technology powered by the Quastar® emitter to neutralize microbial contamination.
3️⃣ Microbial Neutralization
The photonic energy disrupts microbial DNA, preventing organisms from reproducing — all without heat, chemicals, or residual exposure.
4️⃣ Retesting
After treatment, the product is resubmitted for laboratory testing to confirm compliance with microbial standards.
5️⃣ Back Into the Supply Chain
Once the batch passes testing, it can continue through the regulated market for processing or distribution.
At Grow Remedy, our goal is simple:
Help cultivators and processors protect their harvest, maintain quality, and stay compliant.
