This Fall, I took the leap and went back to school for my massage therapy license in a post-degree program. This license will allow me to expand the body work I am able to offer in my speech pathology private practice, particularly in the way of John Barnes Myofascial Release.

We are 5 weeks in at this point, so I think I’m here to stay 😉. My classmates are such cool and interesting people, and this program is way more robust than I ever expected! My brain still semi-works (jury is probably still out on that), and I survived my first in-class A&P test on Monday. Here we are playing with vertebrae in musculoskeletal. 🤓🦴💆🏻‍♀️

And, yes! I am still seeing patients in my Strongsville office - my schedule is just a bit more limited for the next 12 months! 🥰🗣️🩷

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to present to Strongsville Working Women’s Connection on my motivation for opening a private practice, stepping away from the traditional model of care, and my unique approach to voice and upper airway treatment. I am continuously inspired by these authentic and intelligent women and grateful for their support!
