Meal Prep Hack for the Holiday Weekend…
It’s the holiday weekend. Ain’t no one got time for meal prepping right? WRONG. Fail to plan and you plan to fail. With time outside, time with friends and family, and being our first weekend home in like 5 weeks we are BUSY!
But that doesn’t mean our meals get sacrificed!
Two quick hacks to make meal prepping a breeze this weekend. (Comment MPFreebie and I'll send you over my 60 min weekly meal prep)
Cook up a large batch of chicken breast (pressure cooker for speed and ease!). Use basic seasonings like salt, pepper, onion and garlic. Then toss in a bowl and shred with your hand mixer!
This gives you basic cooked chicken you can use for recipes all week. Last week we did pulled chicken and chicken tacos. This weekend we are doing stir fry, chicken salad, and probably some bbq chicken pizza!
But the real hack is using the hand mixer! Makes shredding five pounds of chicken breast a breeze. It literally took me less than 30 seconds, and I didn’t burn my fingers!!!
