A Little Update from Blessed Creek

As Blessed Creek continues to grow and evolve, I’m making a few thoughtful changes to better focus on what serves both you, me, and the business best. A couple of products will be saying goodbye: Lotion Bars, Beard oil, and Kitchen & Bath Scrub will no longer be available. I’m also streamlining scents across most products, focusing on our best sellers and creating coordinated, matching sets. That said, I’ll still be offering 1–2 limited seasonal scents for spring, fall, and winter, because those little seasonal joys matter. i do have stock in most discontinued products, so there's still time.

For markets, I’ll be discontinuing a few skincare items: Re-nourished Facial Oil, Charcoal Facial Mask, Rose Distillate, and Plum Perfect. In their place, I’m excited to be adding something new—a Seaweed Serum, which I can’t wait to share with you. Simply put, I’ve been carrying too much inventory without the return, and this shift allows me to focus on quality, sustainability, and what truly resonates.

Class Update: Until I complete my cataract surgery, all classes will be held during the daytime. The good news is that the majority of students have found this timing works well—and weekend classes are still happening. I have been putting off the classes because it's just too hard to drive.

Blessed Creek will NOT be at the Ellington Farmer's Market this coming Saturday, January 10th. I need to be out of town and cannot get coverage. The Connecticut Herb Association, however, will be at this Winter Health Market. I will miss you all. I am working on the website and screwed something up, so until I get help, healing balms and shampoo bars cannot be ordered. However, I am an email, text, message or phone call away.

Every once in a while, I surprise myself. I have been studying and playing with seaweed plants recently. As an herbalist, I have grown, discovered, and evolved my niche through herbal studies and formulation trials. One day, I had a calling to work with sea plants. It's a long story, and a good one, but I'll keep it short. I began extracting some pretty amazing properties from various sea plants. I used myself as a guinea pig, if you will, then finding success in the condition of skin, and no adverse effects (yeah), I tried formulating with different sea plants. I have 2 products that I use regularly, and I still can't believe how successful they are. Today, I will share the Sea Mineral Muscle Massage oil. I have infused digitata into Jojoba oil, then added Almond infused with pine, Rosemary infused Olive oil, and finally Tangerine infused Evening Primrose oil. It is amazing and amazingly silky!! I have a trigger finger, and making my bed is a challenge. Today, just for the heck of it, I used the rollerball and applied it to both sides of my hand, then massaged it in. Holy Cow! I have been able to use my hand today....and I thought it was helpful for muscles only. I'm not promoting anything here, just sharing my experience. Anyhow, it has yet to be added to the website… because that is another whole thing. The 12-oz flip-top bottle is $40, and the 60ml roller bottle is $15. In another post, I will chat about the Seaweed facial oil, my new favorite…. I’m making another batch as I write. New picture to come soon.
