If you’re wondering whether your child needs a speech evaluation, here’s the simple truth: you don’t have to wait until it’s “bad enough.”

Consider getting a speech eval if:
• Your child isn’t using words, gestures, or signs to communicate needs
• You understand less than half of what they say after age 2–3
• They get frustrated, melt down, or act out because they can’t communicate
• They’re not combining words by age 2–3
• They don’t respond to their name or seem unsure how to interact with others
• You keep thinking, “Something just feels off”

Early evaluations aren’t about labeling kids. They’re about understanding how your child communicates and giving them support before frustration builds.
