Guys I appreciate everyone who has followed this page and want to announce I will be removing Coach Sarge page. I was never able to get a health coaching business off the ground but have been able to pursue other endeavors. I wish everyone the best on your journey to better health. This is the time to listen to the experts and heed the warnings for the well being of everyone. This is the worst sickness since the 1918 Spanish Flu so please take it seriously. Avoid gatherings to slow the spread. 368 people died in Italy in 24 hours so act now so our healthcare system does not become overwhelmed. Please help elderly family members and friends by interacting with them in a way that does not endanger them. The Whitehouse has asked everyone to avoid gatherings of more than 10. If you choose not to follow the social distancing guidelines given to us by the experts please stay away from the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. Don't wait until it is too late!

Guys, here's a good site for Keto recipes. I want to point out I do not propose anyone to follow a specific diet like the Keto diet, however recipes like these will help you lower your carb intake and help you lose the weight. I am a fan of a low carb & balanced diet and find it necessary for those of us who have to be mindful of carb intake. Lower carbs= lower blood sugar and less insulin resistance. Guys, watch out for artificial sweeteners as there is a lot of evidence they may be bad for your health. This sweetener with organic stevia and monk fruit is what I use to flavor my morning coffee. These are both natural sweeteners and not synthetic chemicals.

Remember, try not to drink your calories. Flavored coffees are loaded with artificial ingredients and sugar. Get black coffee with a splash of milk and add a healthier choice sweetener like thus one and cut the calories!

Great article here on controlling blood sugar. You can strategically control spikes in your blood sugar which cause us to feel low energy by making small changes in your lifestyle. Exercise is required to burn excess energy "in the form of blood glucose" as a natural way to reduce these sugar spikes that are wearing you down. Even if you do an intense set of jumping jacks or any short burst of activity before a meal it will help your body metabolize the food you are about to eat. Double up by going for a walk afterwards and you will do yourself even more good. So even if you think you do not have time to exercise start slow and add to your routine as time goes on. Eat a balanced diet and cut out processed and junk foods. Doing these things will naturally keep your blood sugar in check and you body strong. Take advantage of the cooler days ahead this Fall to get your exercise outside and de-stress!

This short article from Harvard University reinforces the concept that there are many ways to lose weight with changing fat, protein and carb intake. There are such a wide variety of diets out there and for good reason since different folks need different outcomes. The important thing is to focus on whole "living" foods and leave out the junk foods. Secondly, make the necessary changes in your lifestyle that need to happen to reduce your stress and get your body functioning properly.
