What is gentle restorative yoga?

Gentle and Restorative Yoga is a highly specific form of yoga and relaxation that makes yoga available to you even if you have physical limitations. Your strength and flexibility may be limited as the result of injuries, ageing, strokes, stress, anxiety, or because you are recovering from surgery. Yoga, however, is based on a philosophy of non-harming, and gentle and restorative yoga embodies the essence of this philosophy. The beauty of yoga is that it can be adapted to each individual’s needs.
