Weβre proud to share that Colin C. Edgerton, M.D., board member at Articularis Healthcare Group and part of the ACR delegation to the AMA House of Delegates, is featured in The Rheumatologist. The AMA House of Delegates meets biannually to shape national policy and set the direction for the countryβs largest physician organization.
At the upcoming AMA House of Delegates Interim Meeting, the ACRβs resolutions will address two key issues impacting rheumatology and specialty care nationwide:
π΅ Non-compete agreements and their effect on physician autonomy
π΅ Use of artificial intelligence (AI) in prior authorization processes
The delegation will also collaborate with the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to support changes to the average sales price methodology for biosimilars, ensuring fair reimbursement for rheumatologists and other specialists who administer them.
