Warmup - 20 Minutes of Cardio

Da Workout

1. Walking Lunges & Mountain Climbers
3 sets of 30 seconds for each exercise 10 seconds of rest in between

2. Glute Bridges & Russian Twist
3 sets of 30 seconds for each exercise 10 seconds of rest in between

3. Pulse Squats & Planks
4 sets of 20 seconds for each exercise No REST in between each set

Timed workouts will not only test your body physically but mentally as well! Timed workouts are a testament of how well you have been prepared to do this next TEST (TODAY'S WORKOUT).

Balance....

Balance is a noun a verb that describes stability! We act on it, stand on it, and try to formulate the day to have the best distribution of balance to fit our lives. Sometimes we hit one or a few of the following (Find Your Balance In👇) and something will lose out with our ""Healthy Lifestyle". We must make an effort to ensure every aspect of our body is able to experience some form of training/attention. Without balance what is there to stand on?

Make shopping easier by shrinking down what you are looking for! You know you are going to need certain types of items, but grocery stores may not have the best selection the day we go or maybe it's too expensive? By giving ourselves broader parameters we can be more selective in the grocery store and not be so limited to regular diet routines.

If I pick the food.....I PICK MY RESULTS!!!

Grocery Shopping List:

Weekly Items:

Veggies - 3-5
Fruits - 3-5
Lean Protein - 2-3
Healthy Fat - 1-2
Water and Water Flavoring - 2
Eggs(Gotta have some Eggs)

Must Haves in the Kitchen:

Salt & Pepper
Favorite Spice
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Butter......Paula Dean Staple, but used sparingly and when necessary not just cause.....

Items to keep to a minimal:

Dairy
Foods with added sugars
Processed Foods
Grains

Items to stay away from purchasing:

DRINKABLE CALORIES

Let's also take into account what the Silverback Gorilla eats?

Vegetation!

Fruits and Veggies all day!!

There has to be something behind this way of eating. If we get the majority of our nutrients from nutrient rich sources like the Gorilla does, we can find some pretty substaintial differences with how our bodies react!

Try it out. You don't have to eliminate protein. BCAA's will help drive protein synthesis(process to allow the body to build new muscle tissue), reduce protein breakdown, and can also reduce the amount of tryptophan and serotonin that get released to our brains(cause us to become more tired during our workouts)

Eat em and Drink em!!
