Your dedication and effort in making time for these sessions is truly appreciated. A special shoutout to our amazing educators, Trina and Chris, for leading trainings for paraprofessionals and crisis response intervention! Hey everyone!

Are you a parent or caregiver of a student with disabilities who is approaching adulthood? If so, we invite you to our upcoming Transition Fair, where you can learn about topics related to the transition of individuals with disabilities from school to adult services.

The fair will provide a variety of resources and information to help you and your loved one navigate this important transition period, including:

Employment options and job training programs
Post-secondary education and vocational training opportunities
Housing and independent living resources
Financial planning and benefits information

Our goal is to help families feel empowered and informed as they navigate the often-challenging transition from school to adulthood. This is a great opportunity to connect with other families in similar situations and learn about the resources available to you.

The Transition Fair will take place on April 25th at Milan High School from 6:00-8:00PM. Its an open house format and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Thank to to the Knights of Columbus of Lawrenceburg, Council 1231 for your generous donation to the ROD Special Education Cooperative! Your donation helps fund community outings and purchase supplies for students with disabilities in Dearborn County as well as Ohio and Ripley Counties.

The Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn (ROD) Special Education Cooperative has an opening for one (1) School Services Professional who is licensed or able to obtain licensing in School Counseling, School Social Work, or School Psychology. The School Services Professional’s duties are based on their licensing and experience and may include Counseling, Psychological Services, Social Work Services, and/or School Psychology Services. Responsibilities are further outlined in the School Psychologist or School Social Worker/Counselor job descriptions.
