Team Samoa Running and Fitness Group --www.TeamSamoa.org-- TEAM SAMOA/PASIFIKA: fitness movement for Samoans, Pacific Islanders, and everyone. I have a titanium plate in my heart to plug the hole.

On May 10, 2018 I (Victor) suffered a massive stroke due to a heart defect I had in my heart for 58 years which was undetected. A blood clot went through the hole in my heart to my brain and I could not move or speak. I am grateful for two parents in the medical profession who taught us to eat right and exercise. My doctors said I am still on the earth due to good health. We can all do this, it is never too late.

I missed you Team! We were at Senator Lara Linear Park in Lynwood. I ran almost 1 hour then journaled at Ham-Burke Park close by. Friendly people, everyone says Good Morning/Buenos Dias. I saw a few runners and some dogs. One group of lady walkers walked past me several times as I was journaling then I turned around and they were dancing the Zumba.

Team I missed you this morning. Are you OK? πŸ˜€πŸ˜΄. I ran from Outback Restaurant to the Lighthouse, in Shoreline Village, then to Pacific Island Ethnic Art Museum and back. About 50 minutes of running. See you at Compton Run Club on Saturday at 7:45 a.m. at Wilson Park.

Marie, Ele and I ran the Fresh Wave 5K sponsored by SoCal PICRT. Nice to see so many participate: Team Samoa founder JP Pereira and son Leone, Alisi Tulua, Peter Afemata, Lorraine F. Tuala Logoai, Mio Tuala , Sharayne Tuala, LooLoo Tupua, Clara Ahsiu and many more. Keep moving! They claim I won the 5kπŸ˜•. I am not sure but I was first in the old person division. 😴

Good 45 minute run at the newly refurbished Dills Park in the City of Paramount. I also ran on the LA river trail.
