Christmas was amazing! The food was top tier, the fellowship was awesome, the desserts were delicious and the day was exactly what it needed to be. I hope everyone had the chance to be “present” for their friends and family on yesterday! Reflection on the greatest gift anyone and everyone has ever received was the focus this year and it made all the difference for me and my mindset.

Here’s the thing that some people may not know about me… I’m not only an excellent cook/baker, I’m a serious one. I prepare, prepare, prepare - down to the hair net, apron and compression socks.

Thanksgiving and Christmas remind me of my mom being in the kitchen for two days mixing all the ingredients (including love) and I have inherited that spirit from her.

This year will not be unlike the others, I’m responsible for the mac’ n cheese, dressing and gravy, candied yams, turkey, sugar cookies and red velvet cake.

I started this morning at 7am and should finish around 5p (taking short breaks). If you wanna find me… look no further than the kitchen, that’s where I’ll be creating and tasting😂😋
