It was an incredible day of connection, empowerment, and community. CVMC loved the opportunity to educate women about the importance of scheduling their annual mammogram and making their health a priority — especially as we come to the close of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Join us Monday, October 20th, 5:30–7:00 PM at Coosa Valley Medical Center’s Hickory Street Café for an informational meeting with the Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences (ASHS). Hear from Dr. Jimmy Martin, President of ASHS, and the school’s leadership team as they share the vision for Alabama’s newest specialty public high school—designed exclusively for healthcare sciences.

Learn how students can earn college credits, gain hands-on healthcare experience, and graduate career-ready! Parents, 8th graders, and community members are encouraged to attend.
