Deceased: Joan A. Donaldson
Date of Death: December 4, 2024

Joan A. Donaldson passed away peacefully on Wednesday at St. Camillus Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she was bookkeeper for many years. Joan served on the Parish Board, the Parish Council, and was President of the Altar and Rosary Society, and a long time member of the church choir. Joan enjoyed family gatherings, reading and spending time at their camp in W**dsport, NY.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2018, parents Gilbert and Agnes Forget and brothers Ron and John D. Forget and a sister Cheryl DeForest.

Joan is survived by two sons, Thomas E. II (Lisa) and William, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a brother G. Robert Forget (Anne Marie).

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 10, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, DeWitt, NY.

In lieu of flowers Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to Our Lady of Hope Church for the upkeep of the Grotto.
