Helio Health Our programs offer hope to those that need it most. Helio Health was founded in Syracuse, NY as a not-for profit organization, in 1920.

The organization amended its corporate purpose in 1959 to begin a mission focused on a “home for men in need of rehabilitation because of alcoholism.” Since that time Helio Health continued to grow and broaden its services to provide support and case management, treatment, education, and residential services that promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other behavioral health issues. Our corporate offices are located at 555 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13202.

Thank you to the friends, family, volunteers, and community members who came together at the 3rd Biennial David Anthony Crisalli Memorial Bowling Tournament to celebrate David’s 35th birthday and honor his memory. 🎳

A special thank you to the Crisalli family for their continued commitment to raising awareness for substance use and supporting recovery, and for directing the proceeds of their event to The Recovery Center.

In Syracuse, our Recovery Center hosts a Veterans Support Group every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Stop by 714 Hickory Street or reach out at (315) 701-1518.

We were excited to celebrate the opening of our Rochester Outpatient Program, now a Comprehensive Outpatient Program, with a ribbon-cutting! 🎉

This program offers all forms of Medication-Assisted Treatment, including buprenorphine and methadone. This means more access to life-saving, evidence-based care for those seeking support for substance use and opioid-related challenges.
