🎶 “Where were you when the world stopped turnin’ that September day?” 🎶

Today, we pause to remember one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. We honor the innocent lives lost, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, the survivors who continue to fight, and the families forever changed. We also pay tribute to the brave military personnel who laid down their lives in the battles that followed.

This day is a reminder of resilience, sacrifice, and unity.

History Fact: In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, two of our very own traveled to New York to assist in the search and recovery efforts. We are proud to recognize Honorary Firefighter/EMT-I Mark Pontefract and Honorary Firefighter/EMT Milton Trabal for their selfless service during those tragic days.

LF3 stopped by to give someone a lift today at the request of Shenandoah EMS. So we established a welcoming party (landing zone) for them this afternoon. It's always great to see so many entities working together to serve our communities!
