First post of 2026.
This is me and my speech therapist, Alyssa. After falling 25 feet and suffering a traumatic head injury, I was lost—mentally, emotionally, and cognitively. From the moment I left the hospital and entered PAM Rehabilitation Center in Kyle, she walked with me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.
Yesterday—the day this picture was taken—was her last day at the facility, which made it incredibly emotional. She wasn’t just my therapist; she was a safe space, a counselor, and a guiding light. Because of her patience, care, and belief in me, I’ve regained clarity, memory, and confidence, and I’ve learned how to truly process life again.
Recovery is more than physical. It’s mental. It’s emotional. It’s personal. I’m still rebuilding what I lost in 2025, but I’m stepping into 2026 stronger, clearer, and ready to give it everything I have.
Thank you, Alyssa.
Let’s get right. Let’s get tight.
