Yesterday I received some sad news.
After 17 years of serving the Seminole Heights area, Jai Dee will be closing its doors for good at the end of January.
I will forever be grateful for the impact that Jai Dee has had on my life. At Jai Dee I learned how to manage a business, with the ups and the downs. I got certified in Thai massage and as a yoga teacher. But most importantly, I met so many amazing people.
I purchased Jai Dee January 2017. We were forced to close during the pandemic and had it not been for Danielle stepping up to purchase it and continue for another 5 years, that would have been the end of the story. I am very grateful that Jai Dee was given the additional 5 years and that I was asked to return as massage manager nearly three years ago.
Jai Dee is a special place. You feel it when you walk in the doors. The truth is, unfortunately, yoga as a business is hard. And changes with the economy have made it even harder.
I will miss Jai Dee greatly and will cherish every day I get to spend there in the next month.
For now I don’t know where my story will take me but do know this is not the end for Pidgeon Wellness. I am searching hard for the next place to call home for my business and to continue to help my clients.
Please continue to follow this page for updates. I appreciate all of your support over the years and going forward.
