USF Bay Area Early Steps Program

USF Bay Area Early Steps Program We are funded through Part C of the IDEA act and all our services are at no charge to the family.

We provide early intervention services to eligible children serving in Hillsborough and Polk county, from birth up to 36-months, with developmental delays, disabilities and at-risk conditions. Serving Hillsborough and Polk counties, USF Bay Area Early Steps is a birth to 36 months early intervention program for children who have significant delays or an established condition that may result in a delay. We are a unique program due to the fact that our services are centered in the child’s natural environment and our goal is to teach the parent or caregiver to identify natural learning opportunities throughout the day.
