MacDonald Training Center (MTC) Celebrated the Honorable Fran Davin, MTC Board Member, who was honored as the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation Community Hero on March 29, 2026!

Community Hero, past MTC Board Chair, and devoted public servant whose courageous advocacy and compassionate leadership have expanded opportunity and dignity for underserved communities. Her steady guidance continues to shape our growth and leaves a legacy that will impact generations to come. She is also one of our Honorees at our April 16th Community Recognition Dinner.

MacDonald Training Center (MTC) Celebrated Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, as the Honorable Fran Davin, MTC Board Member, was honored as the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation Community Hero on March 29, 2026!

Fran Davin is a beacon of light in our community. She’s a former Hillsborough County commissioner and Tampa City Council member who now dedicates her time and expertise to transforming the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through her work with MTC.

At every home game, the Tampa Bay Lightning honor a local person or nonprofit working to make an impact in our community.

📍 We loved connecting with families today!

Today, MacDonald Training Center (MTC) team members - Sharon Foster, Anthony Hughes, and Stephanie Ivey, had the opportunity to connect with families and community partners at the “Creating a Plan for the Future” Provider Fair hosted by Hillsborough County Public Schools and FDLRS Parent Services - Hillsborough County.

Events like this remind us how important it is to walk alongside families as they explore what’s next—whether it’s career training, employment, or greater independence.

✨ At MTC, we’re here to help individuals with disabilities build meaningful pathways to learning, working, and living the lives they choose.
