🌿 My gut loves this simple tea.

Sometimes the best support for digestion and hormones comes from the simplest ingredients.

Today’s blend:
🫚 Ginger – helps calm inflammation, support digestion, and reduce bloating
🌿 Mint leaves – soothing for the stomach and helpful for easing digestive discomfort
🌰 Cloves – naturally antimicrobial and supportive for gut balance
🍋 Lemon (added after) – supports liver function and helps the body process hormones
How I make it:
Blend the ginger, mint, and cloves.
Boil for about 8–10 minutes, then add fresh lemon at the end.
Warm, simple, and supportive for both the gut and hormone balance.

Sometimes healing starts with what we sip throughout the day.

Nothing fancy just food that works with my body.

🐟 Salmon – omega-3s that help calm inflammation and support hormone balance
🥬 Swiss chard (steamed) – rich in magnesium and fiber to support digestion and nervous system balance
🍠 Japanese sweet potatoes – gentle carbs that support cortisol balance and steady energy
Sometimes the most powerful meals are the simplest ones.

Yes - I forgot my avocado 😡!

🥚 Eggs… we’re still negotiating.
Eggs and I have a love–hate relationship, but we’re not giving up on each other just yet.

Today’s breakfast was simple and nourishing:
🥚 Eggs – rich in protein and choline to support brain health and hormone balance
🥑 Avocado – healthy fats that help stabilize blood sugar and support hormones
🍞 Gluten-free bread – gentle carbs for steady energy
🥬 Spinach – magnesium and fiber to support digestion and stress balance
Off camera:
🍵 Dandelion tea + collagen + oat milk for digestion and gut support.
All that was missing was a few strawberries… but we’ll fix that next time. 😄

Sometimes healing means reintroducing foods slowly and listening carefully.

🌿Saturday night dinner! It is time to go grocery shopping 😂.

Today, I spent the whole day I bed relaxing. I started feeling bad thinking I am not doing anything productive -- then I was like naaaahhhh...rest is productive.

Pretty people, please please take time to rest. Even a machine has its limits!!

🌿Friday nights used to be pizza and garlic bread.

Now it’s leftovers.

Less inflammation.
Less money spent.
Less regret the next morning.

Turns out healing can be practical… and budget friendly.

What's on my plate?

🐟 Salmon (if you are in perimenopause or you have allergies only try natural seasonings - garlic, thyme, oregano, ginger, salt, acv)

🌾 Jasmine rice ( I don't eat rice too often but that's all I had left. Always pair with a vegetable for added fiber)

🥦 Broccoli ( air fried but preferred them steamed with salt and olive oil)

🥑 Avocado - (healthy fat) off camera

🌿Not The Prettiest Meal… But My Hormones Love It

Yesterday's leftovers = Today's lunch!

🥩 Beef liver – one of the most nutrient-dense foods out there. Packed with iron, B vitamins, and vitamin A to support energy, hormone production, and overall vitality. (Nothing but natural seasonings: Garlic, thyme, rosemary, oregano, sea salt, onions, green peppers, green onions , ACV).

🍚 White rice – easy to digest and gentle on the gut, helping provide steady energy without overwhelming digestion.

🥬 Brussels sprouts – rich in fiber and compounds that help the body process excess estrogen and support gut balance.
Sometimes healing meals don’t look fancy…
they just work. (And yes - they are all the brussel sprouts lol).

🏆Cooking for people with allergies is no joke 😅.

Dinner was:
🍗 Air fried chicken wings (super crispy)
🫛 Green beans
🥑 Avocado
🍌 Baked sweet plantains (U already know 😆)

Now let me be honest…

Chicken wings and I have not always been friends. The fatty skin + powdered seasonings usually leave my stomach like, “Ma’am… absolutely not.” 😕

So I used to feel a little left out whenever wings were on the menu.

But tonight? MVP status. 🏆
My husband seasoned them with real ingredients only:
🧄 Fresh garlic.
🌿 Rosemary
🌿 Thyme
🌿 Oregano
🫒 Olive oil
🧂 Sea salt
🍎 Apple cider vinegar

No mystery powders. No inflammatory overload. Just clean flavor.

And when you cook them right, the fat doesn’t feel heavy or irritating.
