The Jacob Davis Funeral Home extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of, Dave Lukas
Dave Lukas-
A man of great spirituality and member of Eeshan Church of Metta Spirituality and School of Enlightenment was known as "Calvin"- a nickname given to him by his daughters when they were little and mistakingly saw the CK insignia on the Calvin Klein shirt he was wearing as the initials for his name.
Before he left us, Dave (husband and dad) was with that the girl he loved, and they got to hug and kiss.
He shared in his wife's work with excitement and was always planning projects with her in his love for God. From the building to all interior projects, including the two beautiful Altar Arks, everything was planned out and built by him. St Michael's Chapel was his tribute to the Saint he loved so dearly with Blessed Mother by his side.
All who knew him say It was such a blessing to know him and are deeply saddened to hear this shocking news.
However, no one can imagine the MASSIVE void left with his wife, children, and grandchildren by his sudden absence! He was with the girl he loved and laughed with through all the unimaginable trials and tribulations in their life.
All social media posts have shown just how wonderful he was, including how they loved everything about this guy/ saying:!what a man!
Posts are still coming in from everyone who knew him saying there was truly no one they knew who was a more unique combination —-of kindness, compassion, humor, piercing intelligence— with such Genuine talent in so many different areas !! Food, architecture, art, music, engineering, or most importantly, simply being a great dad, husband, and dear friend. And if this wasn't a spectacular show of talent - His founding of Belltower pizza to help support the church became an overnight success. He was the tall chef and was the genius behind future plans and tasty treats!!
The family is planning a memorial service, which will be announced at a later date.
