I’m not sure when they will Shut Down this page but if you’d like to keep up with Spencer I have a new page for her that is called “My Best Friend Spencer” if you’d like to send a request. Hopefully you can attend her party October 29th! I’ll update this page with more information until it is shut down! Thanks to everyone that has supported Spencer and I through this almost 7 year journey! It’s been so rewarding!

Yesterday, at a Drug Court Gradustion, K9 Spencer was honored for her participation in Drug Court! I’m always so proud of how much Spencer is loved by her community! We were pleasantly surprised with special dog treats made by Wigglewow and Beautiful flowers! Thank you!!❤️

We had K9 training yesterday! Spencer trained hard inside a KY Lottery warehouse and then behind the building at an additional venue in a very cool park! There were kids playing in the park and Spencer did not pay attention to them because she knew her “assignment” was to locate the drug hides Afterwards, we got a tour of the offices where Spencer made several new friends! As always, I was very proud of Spencer…….

Today, our school partnered with several local law enforcement agencies to conduct a routine and proactive safety check using trained K-9 units. These searches, which included 20 classrooms throughout the building, are part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring student safety and maintaining a secure learning environment for all.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Spencer County Sheriff's Office, Mt. Washington Police Department, Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Louisville Metro Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and the Bullitt County Detention Center for their cooperation and assistance. Their presence and support help us reinforce the importance of a safe and drug-free school community.

Thank you to our students and staff for their cooperation during this process. Together, we are dedicated to providing a safe space where our students can learn, grow, and succeed.

We have some Sad news to report tonight. K9 Spencer’s Doggy Mommy (Ellie Mae) passed away today. We are so sorry to hear of this news but want to Thank “Ellie Mae” for giving us sweet and smart K9 Spencer. Rest in Peace “Ellie Mae”. You did a Great job and had a bunch of nice (big hearted) puppies! Thank You! 💔🐕‍🦺 😢
