Today is my 56th birthday. I’ve just spent the most marvelous 3 weeks traveling through the mountains of Nepal and today I am lucky enough to head to Thailand for a week of diving and beach and fresh fruit and rest. I am so deeply grateful for this experience I am having. If I have learned anything in these 56 years of mine, that I want to carry forward front and center, it is that these trips are magic but it is the people you meet along the way that are the true gift. I’ve seen unbelievable beauty here in Nepal but what has truly filled my cup is the time l’ve gotten to spend with Nalam, Takman, Sabrina, Niki, Colton and Markus and of course, Tim. The little community we’ve created over the past couple of weeks has meant the world to me. So, for this next year and beyond, a friendly reminder. Love your people. Meet new ones. Love them too.

Happy Sunday from Tim & Jenna! 🏔️

From Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, through Chukhung, up and over Kongma La Pass, and across the glacier to Lobuche — 18,000 feet and counting! 💪⛰️ Tim’s been putting our Trauma Balm to the ultimate test, keeping sore muscles and tired joints going strong on every steep climb and rocky descent. Proof that this balm works as hard as you do. 🏔️✨

October postcards from a moody Fall day in Telluride

While I only managed to get down to this beautiful mountain town for a quick jaunt this Fall (roughly half a day), getting to experience it in the gloomy weather that October brings was quite a treat.

While the rain was intermittently coming down, the streets were much calmer, and you could feel the embrace for the onset Winter in the people of the town and in the incredible mountains that surround it.

The conditions made it where shooting the mountains was a game of patience, as they would be out on full display one minute, and socked behind the next oncoming rain clouds the next.

But it also made it incredibly rewarding, and made me look elsewhere around the town for compositions as well that I hadn’t explored before.

Hi Friends! Tim’s Trauma Balm is a product Tim and Jenna have been developing since early 2015. It all started because Tim’s hands were beginning to bother him while doing body work. We decided to try to make a salve that he could use to relieve the pain and swelling in his hands. After years of experimentation we came up with Tim’s Trauma Balm. It is a pain relief and anti inflammatory salve.

We tried other salves and found that the ingredients were not very high quality nor were they very effective so we set out to make a superior product using the highest quality ingredients that we could find.

Tim has been selling Tim’s Trauma Balm to his massage clients and we have been giving it to friends and family to try and it has been a big hit.

After receiving a lot of encouragement we decided to start a small company called Small Batch Salves and to begin distributing Trauma Balm.
