Results are in from the South Coast Vizsla Club’s Annual Walking Field Trial!

We spent February 6–8th, 2026 out at the Camp H grounds (formerly Castle Butte Wells) in California City, CA, seeing plenty of red dogs and other pointing breeds doing what they were bred to do.

Huge thank you to our judges, bird planters, gunners, line marshals, kitchen crew, and every handler who entered and supported the trial. These events only happen because of our amazing volunteers and community.

🎉 WE PURCHASED A NEW LURE MACHINE SETUP! 🎉

SCVC is hosting all-breed Fast CAT events at Galway Downs - Temecula, CA in April.

Agility occurring at the same venue... visit us after your QQ!

* Two events each day, 125 run limit per event. $25/run.
* Pre Event Online Entries available at: https://forms.gle/FuTmwLTPcUhmM38z8
* Day of Event entries ($30/run) accepted until 2:00PM each day or entries limits have been reached.

Course will be fully fenced on packed dirt. Lure system will be continuous loop with white plastic bag lure. Electronic timers will be used. Back up equipment, including manual timing, will be available. Track run out will be 50 yards.

All Events will be held Outdoors from 8:00AM until 4:00PM. Events will pause from 12:00PM – 1:00PM each day for lunch. Time may be adjusted based on number of entries received.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the South Coast Vizsla Club Specialty and Sweepstakes in beautiful Palm Springs 🌴 on January 3rd, 2026. It was a fantastic day, and we truly appreciate everyone who attended, exhibited, volunteered, and cheered on the dogs.

A very special thank you to the SCVC Show Committee for all the behind-the-scenes work that makes an event like this possible, setting up and tearing down, selling raffle tickets, passing out awards, and handling all the details (including ordering our rosettes). Also thank you to everyone who submitted Trophy Sponships for our Winners!
