Hello! I am ready to dive into doula-ing. I’ve been MIA on and off but I’m here and looking for mommas! I’m very open on pricing and making a plan that works for you. I also would be open to trading services! I’m done with courses but having a hard time getting my 2 births completed as potential clients being told I cannot attend births because I’m not certified, little ironic, isn’t it?

Did you know a doula is very beneficial , even in a cesarean section? A cesarean, rather planned or unplanned is often very scary due to the unknowns going into it.

•preparing you and your partner for typical procedures and their options during birth and postpartum

•provide ways to manage epidural side affects, IV site affects and any pre•op/operation/ post op concerns

✨ Parents are learning how to take care of this new baby but also they are learning who they are as a mother/father/parent while adjusting to a new lifestyle with drastic sleep changes, lots of new responsibilities, fluctuating hormones and so much more. Check in on your new parent friends 🤍

💭Some other things you can do to help out new parents are, prepare meals for the family, offer to clean up the house, help with other kid(s), run errands or even simply asking how they are adjusting!

📚PMAD- Perinatal mood and anxiety disorder. Some of the most common PMAD types are postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD and postpartum psychosis. These disorders can be found in new mothers as well as their partners. If you suspect you have a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder, contact your care provider.

Epidural = no more pain💭 🛑

While epidural is typically a very successful medication for labor pain, there are so many other things to consider when deciding on an epidural.

✨ I’m not here to tell you to not get an epidural but I am here to inform you with what that can entail and how it can affect your birth plan. I know mommas that are scared of hospital settings and having a bunch of tubes and monitors on them could make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Another consideration is, you may not be able to feel what is happening and that may be important for some birthing persons. On the opposing side, to some pain might be what is causing their stress and fear and an epidural might be the right choice for them. Whatever it may be, all mommas have the right to know all their options and what is to follow with these options to make informed decisions on what feels right to them for their birth . 🤍

Hello, I’m Autumn! I’ve gotten a lot of new followers since starting this page and I wanted to reintroduce myself. When I started this page, I thought I’d just be a birth doula then I noticed I wanna do more and more , then I was awarded a scholarship with to become a childbirth educator & a postpartum doula. All I need to be a certified birth doula is a few responses from the birth community to finish some assignments and 2 births. (Looking for a momma for my 2nd certifying birth!) I am also finished with my childbirth educator course and will be completing it on Sunday with an oral presentation, then I will start on my postpartum certification.

I’m located in Tempe, AZ but grew up in San tan valley, AZ. 🌵🐄 In about 2 weeks I’ll be 25 years old. I am currently just an animal mom with my boyfriend of almost 2 years ( a dog + 5 reptiles) but can’t wait to have human babies! 🤍

Happy Monday! I’ve been slacking on posting but I’m back! I’ve also got a lot of new followers, thank you to everyone whose followed and supported me so far! Along with working full time I’ve been finishing up assignments for my birth doula certification and I’m so close! One of my certifying births are in November but I am still looking for one more, at a very minimal cost! If you’re looking for a doula and don’t quit have the budget, message me to set up something, I’d love to help! I also finished all my course work for my childbirth educator certification and I just need to test this week, then I’ll be working on my postpartum doula certification! So much happening but I’m so excited to learn more and more to help new mommas and families ! 🤍
