Well… here I sit in the cool, damp Central Texas morning, coffee in hand, watching just two puppies from what used to be a wild crew of eleven. And I’ll tell you… it’s humbling.
Raising Maligators is not for the weak. One minute they’re tiny, squishy, candy-sweet babies… and the next, they’re full-blown machines with drive, opinions, and a whole lot of personality.
And City… man, I’m still in awe of her.
When we decided to breed City and Eirik, I won’t lie—I was nervous. The unknowns will get you every time. You plan, you prep, you second guess… and then life just says, “Alright, here we go.”They did their thing, and before long, we had confirmation—puppies were on the way.
Those first few weeks? Quiet. I kept grinding—training dogs, running board and trains, working at the shop—because I knew once those puppies hit the ground, everything would change.
And it did.
