I'm so grateful to Pooh for taking me out for a walk today. The beautiful weather lifted my spirits, and I feel revitalized after the challenging past few days.

Ugh…I look like I’m in the hospital. Don’t laugh at me. I’m so retuhgo…🥴 Probably here through Tuesday.

Infusion Day 2

In and out…no problems. 2 days down, 2 to go…

POST-TRANSPLANT UPDATE:

As of today at 2:00 pm

All of my tests came back.

1. My stool sample came back completely negative. So no E. coli or anything else in my intestinal tract.

2. No COVID or flu or RSV.

3. My abdominal scan came back negative.

4. My diarrhea and vomiting stopped.

5. They removed the stent this morning. Whoever said it wasn’t going to hurt, lied like hell. I was hollering like a big ol’ punk.

And best of all, Fran made it to middle school! My creatinine is only 0.58 from being within normal range. My GFR (kidney function) went from 6 (while I was on dialysis) up to 32.

I am OFFICIALLY OFFICIALLY off of dialysis! They told the dialysis center they could give up my chair.

I think I’m going to be in the hospital at least until the weekend…I’m still not 100% sure.
