Sinus congestion anyone?

I don't know about where you are but here in Tennessee it's been a weather roller coaster. Warm, cold, rainy, sunny, snowy, warm again, and on and on.
‌
All these sudden changes in temperature and pressure for weeks on end have my sinuses in a tailspin.
‌
If I don't address it right away, I can't breathe through my nose.
If I can't breathe through my nose, I can't sleep.
If I can't sleep, everything crumbles.
‌
These have been my top 2 tools to address sinus congestion.
‌
Open Sesame is my menthol salve. It smells lovely but it's also easy on the eyes. So I can massage it in to my cheeks, forehead and under the nose without irritation. After a few minutes I can feel the sinus pressure go down.

I first made it for my kids several years ago. I didn't tell them what was in it and I called it limeade.😏
‌
They liked it! THEN I told them what was in it and why it was so good for them. It's been around our house ever since.
‌
We like ours with limes and honey. Not too sweet though. More lime than honey.
‌
If it's your first try at parsley water, go heavier on the lime and honey. You can always cut back on later batches.
‌

🌿1 bunch organic flat leaf parsley
🫙5 TB lime juice (we use Lakewood organic lime juice in the glass bottles)
🍯1-2 TB raw local honey
💦6 cups water
‌
Let it blend in a high speed blender for a couple minutes. If you don't have a high speed blender, you might want to strain it after it blends.
‌
Best served over ice.

My 2026 word is PURPOSE.
‌
This is not the same as intent, as far as I see it. I view intent as leaning in, being present.

Purpose, on the other hand, represents choice. Doing things because I choose to, not just bobbing along, going with the flow, trying to keep my head above water.
