Blue Lotus has been worked with for thousands of years, and it's one of our best sellers for good reason.

In ancient Egypt, it was a sacred plant depicted in temple art, burial sites, and ritual scenes. It symbolized rebirth, altered awareness, and communion with the unseen. Pharaohs and priests used it ceremonially.

Today, Blue Lotus is still used in much the same spirit. People work with it to support meditation, dreamwork, ritual baths, altar offerings, and moments when they want to soften the edges of the mind and turn inward. I

It’s a plant that asks you to slow down, set a tone, and actually listen.

A Palo Santo tree grows for decades, often 50 to 70 years, before it naturally dies. After it falls, the wood is left to rest on the forest floor for several more years before it’s ever collected.

With the commercialization of spirituality, that process changed. Live trees were cut down to meet demand, and in some regions Palo Santo is now listed as endangered. That’s the part that doesn’t get talked about enough.

If you choose to work with Palo Santo, sourcing matters. Reputable suppliers work directly with local harvesters, collect only naturally fallen wood, and honor the land it comes from. You’ll notice a real price difference between sustainably harvested Palo Santo and the rest, and there’s a reason for that.

We source Palo Santo with care and intention, honoring the tree, the people, and the tradition it comes from. It’s available in the shop and online for those who choose to work with it
