GOBHI Foster Care Greater Oregon Behavioral Health Inc offers therapeutic foster care & elevated support for families.

GOBHI Therapeutic Foster Care provides an elevated level of support for both foster youth and foster families, with a larger coverage footprint than any other foster agency in the state of Oregon. When placing foster youth, we do our best to keep kiddos near their community of origin so they're still near their families and local support networks. Foster parents with GOBHI receive specialized training both initially and ongoing, access to 24/7 crisis support, and a dedicated staff member who makes weekly visits. Full-time fostering includes 2 paid days off a month and a typical placement length of 6 to 24 months; part-time relief care allows for flexibility, as providers indicate when they are available to accept youth into their homes for short periods of time (typically 2 to 14 days) for either planned or crisis care.

Our 2025 Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Wrapped is here! 🎉

Here’s what community impact looks like:

🏡 70 certified foster homes strong (+15% in two years!)
🏡 17 new foster homes certified and still going
🚗 So many miles from our team, we nearly made it to the moon (84% there!) 🌙
🐾 Team pets: 24 cats > 21 dogs (we said what we said!)
👥 9 new amazing humans joined our team
