Happy ONE Haven!! We had the best time celebrating our sweet girl✨

Haven loves to wave, clap, blow kisses, and give high fives. Her favorite words are dada and night-night, and she loves singing “e-i-e-i-o”😊 She is super adventurous and a great climber- although she is so, so careful and rarely falls. She is a little fish that loves to swim and has no fear jumping in and going under water!🌊She loves to play with all of her sisters toys- especially with dollhouses and figurines.

She is obsessed with Sailor and imitates everything she does. We are so lucky that Sailor totally reciprocates and has been nothing but completely loving to her baby sister 👯‍♀️

Haven is the love of our lives- she has completely stolen our hearts, brought us so much joy, and been the perfect addition to our family. We cannot even imagine life before she was here!❤️

dinner time! mashed chickpeas w/ avocado & lemon juice, steamed broccoli + cauliflower tossed with pesto, steamed carrot fries! this chickpea mash is such a great go to if i need a protein in, like, 2 minutes and don’t have anything prepped😛. just drain and rinse a can of chickpeas, mash them with a fork and 1/4 avocado. i added a little lemon juice for maximum iron absorption!

This beach baby turned snow bunny for the weekend!❄️ Sailor had a blast shredding with dad 🤙🏼🏂, playing with cousins (they love baby Say-lee-er😅), and braving her first snow storm☃️ We had a blast!! @ Mount Bachelor

🌽corn, bacon, & parmesan pasta salad🙌🏼 this was a warm pasta recipe I adapted to be a cold pasta salad by adding an apple cider dijon vinaigrette after it was cooled. this bumped up the flavor immensely...my other trick for a delicious pasta salad is using chickpea pasta- not only does it up the nutrition👍🏼, but it really gives pasta salad so much more flavor that regular wheat pasta! finished with fresh summer herbs like chives and basil🌿, this one was a winner!

i have section each week on my menu called “simple” containing items that are kid friendly (ie chicken nuggets, mini turkey meatballs)...but I feel like labeling it as such is too limiting...because there are always lots of yummy options like this turkey bolognese! served over your choice of zoodles or quinoa spaghetti!🍝

when we are in the thick of a summer with so much delicious produce, it is hard to imagine a time without it! making the most of it while i can! from last week’s menu➡️ summer kale & stone fruit salad! kale, quinoa, crunchy red cabbage, peaches, nectarines, plums, toasted almonds, and shallot dressing! summer please don’t end!!🙏🏼☀️

my husband is a happy camper when our turkey bacon & cheddar cornbread muffins hit the menu, and lucky for him, this week was the one! reheated these in the toaster oven and spread with vegan butter and a drizzle of maple syrup!

no, you are not seeing double!👀👀 one of meals is vegetarian lentils meatballs and one is turkey! can you tell which is which??
these were delivered yesterday served with cacio e pepe spaghetti squash which was by far- without a doubt- the best spaghetti squash i have ever had!🙌🏼🙌🏼 (not to toot my own horn, but if you don’t get that enthusiastic about you’re own food, who the heck will??🤷🏼‍♀️😅)
