I am not a franchise, but I am a concerned school nurse in Conroe ISD. I have also turned into a ZEALOT for safe products. Lice Eliminators has been an idea in the making for several years. As a school nurse for 20 years and camp nurse for over 30 years, I have seen the frustration of parents trying to deal with the problem of a lice infestation. Resistance to pesticide treatments is at a record high!! Fourteen years ago, my students' parents were telling me that they saw live lice crawling through their child’s hair immediately after using an over-the-counter pesticide lice treatment. I watched their dismay at finding out that the pesticide treatment they purchased in the pharmacy should not be repeated for another 7 days, turning their child’s lice problem into an ongoing nightmare of missed work and school, and hours spent trying to get rid of lice and eggs. As I researched better ways to treat head lice, I discovered a terrible fact – not only were lice resistant to pesticide treatments, but the treatment itself could be neurotoxic to children. In 1998, I found safe (although very messy) ways for my students to treat their lice infestations using "home remedies". These methods worked fairly well but required hours of treatment, nit-picking, and every other day re-treatment for a few weeks, not to mention constant washing of bed linens. In 2009, after researching well over 200 hours, I discovered a safe enzyme treatment and have never looked back. The ingredients are registered with the FDA as "generally regarded as safe" for food! Thus, Lice Eliminators was born. My very first client was a precious , 1 year old curly haired baby. Any doubt I had dissolved as I combed out dead lice and nits by the hundreds out of his hair. I began advising parents and friends to use the product. After almost 4 years of LICE ELIMINATORS, and over 2000 clients, I know two things beyond a shadow of a doubt: THIS TREATMENT WORKS! And most importantly: IT IS SAFE!!
