Today is officially a full year of healthy eating! 🎉

My weight goal was 140. I got down to 134 at one point. I got carried away. 😆 But I’m proud to say that I was 141 this morning. Still hanging out on my goal weight.

Non scale victories- Down from a large shirt and size 10 jeans. I am a small or medium shirt (small fits but I’m tall so I get a little more length on medium) and size 6 jeans.

Health- My A1C was 5.2%, I am completely off my diabetes medication (I am still monitoring it), my cholesterol (135) and triglyceride (was 401 in Jan 2024 and was down to 98 this week) meds went from 3 a day down to only one and my numbers are on point! I have also been able after 20 years cut my heart pill in half. It was making my heart rate drop too low.

I’m not telling you that it was all “easy” but it has been well worth it. It does get easier to not crave those snickers and DQ Blizzards. I still miss pizza 🍕. But if I treat myself to a “cheat meal”…. It will be pizza.

Oh… and let’s not forget that I ran (more jogged/fast walked) a 5K and won 3rd place 🥉 for my age group. I’m so proud of that M&M metal that I might just wear it like daily jewelry. 😂

It’s not a “DIET” it’s a “Life Style Change”! Living healthy never felt better!

After a week long cruise, I still ate healthy and was only up .2 lbs. If you are traveling and eating out, it is possible to stay on plan.

Most places will let you double up on a green bean or vegetable instead of a potato that it comes with. Drink that water! 💦
