As a parent, I get it. Its hard, and sometimes we dont know what to do. Many therapists will see teens who don't want therapy. Many of us won't. I'm always happy to have conversations about what i think will and wont, "work," and to explain the reasoning behind my decisions.

Part 2 of yesterday's video. In the next video I'll show that pic from the Auburn/UGA game, compare it to a political pic used in some interesting research, and talk about why it's problematic for our favorite sports team and our preferred political party to light up the same brain areas.

Tajfel wondered how many salient differences he would need to create between groups for members to begin to show favoritism. The answer was 0. All he had to do was to divide people into groups. No actual differences, other than group categorization, were necessary in order to produce bias.
