It’s that time of year again! I’m in love with this homemade unsweetened applesauce recipe. We went apple picking yesterday and I currently have this pot of deliciousness simmering on the stove. I can’t wait for it to be done! It’s so good I eat it for dessert. I also substitute it for butter in baking recipes, add it to oatmeal, and make apple pancakes.

I love when the weather gets cooler and I can curl up on my balcony with a warm bowl of oatmeal, especially this one, which is pumpkin pecan!
