Our Littlest Learners are already beginning their journey as artists, participating in a meaningful Artist in Residence experience that connects creativity, community, and a sense of belonging.

Our Littles contributed their own piece to a larger mosaic—each tile a reflection of their curiosity, individuality, and joy. Guided by a teaching artist, they learn that their ideas matter and that even the smallest hands can help create something lasting and beautiful.
What makes this experience especially powerful is what comes next.

When these children walk through the doors of Tilghman Elementary as future students, they won’t just be entering a new school—they’ll be returning to a place where they already belong. There, on the wall, will be a piece of their own creation embedded in the school’s mosaic. A familiar mark. A quiet reminder: I was here. I am part of this community. ❤️
