At the beginning of this year, I shared that some changes would be made with this small business of mine and while it wasn’t always the plan, for the sake of my business endeavors and women supporting women in the small business world, Aura Apothecary and Craft will be longer but instead……

🌿 Rosemary + Rei Apothecary 🌿

A simple but meaningful name change
- Rosemary is my favorite herb
- Rei (pronounced like Rye) is short for my middle name Reiley

I still plan to sell the same things I have been - simmer pot kits, oil blends, scrubs, epsom salt blends, tea blends, all purpose cleaners, and more coming into this new season ✨

I hope all who support me can help to share this chapter with me and embrace this new change in my small business. Thank you for giving me this space to do what I love 💚

To all that supported Aura Apothecary and Craft in 2025, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU 🌿💚✨🙌🏼 Taking this opportunity off the ground and selling products has been so incredibly fulfilling. It’s been even better having people who truly enjoy the products is even more of a blessing ✨

This year is going to come with some changes within Aura Apothecary and Craft. — I’m not going anywhere but going into this new year with the intent of growing in some different directions. While change is scary and sometimes difficult to deal with, it is sometimes necessary 🌿

I can’t wait to continue into 2026 in this small business journey. Thank you all so much for making 2025, the year we blossomed, a memorable one 💚

✨ What IS a simmer pot? ✨
I get asked so often what the point of a simmer pot is and how to do it & it’s so simple to do.
A simmer pot can be made with any aromatic herbs , plants , and/or fruits. In other words, if it smells good, throw it in the pot! 🤩
Simmer pots are used for a multitude of reasons but a main one being to make your space smell good! Other reasons some may use simmer pots are for cultural practices - simmer pots date back to ancient Rome and Greece who used them to cleanse the air around them. Pagan traditions also use them to release any negative energy, setting good intentions, and bringing in a new season.
